As reported in the July 31, 2015, edition of the Upstate Business Journal by Staff Writer Sherry Jackson, Greenville’s West End Historic District , once comprised of worn-down warehouses and lower-income housing, will soon be transformed into a completely different place. Properties that once stood vacant for decades are now fetching millions of dollars from developers anxious to meet the demands of those wanting to live, work, and play in downtown Greenville.
In recent years, downtown Greenville has become one of the “best downtowns in America” and that distinction is expanding to include areas west of the Reedy River.
